Report Inappropriate Comments

Dear Dr. Phil,

You and I have had many conversations and I have always walked away respecting you, even if I disagreed with your comments. As you know, I have been a constant critic of the past School Committee and especially of certain members that are no longer there. That was then. This is now. Warwick has a new Mayor and a new School Committee. Both are upgrades, in my opinion. I believe this gives you the opportunity to be the bridge bringing the School Committee, the Mayor, the teachers and especially the students to a much higher level. It is admittedly an enormous challenge but the results could be amazing and they will show up in the proficiency ratings, and a lot of people, myself included, will credit you for at least some of that. My advice is that you meet more often with the teachers, even if it is a casual chat in a crowded hallway. I, for one, would rather have more of our qualified teachers and less of the renovations and administration staff. Throughout my education, in grammar school, high school and college, I can remember which of my educators left a significant impression on my personality. I can't remember even one renovation. Or one administrator, for that matter.
