Actually, I'm sure that both Mr. Cote and Mr. Block have other things to occupy their time. And neither the FBI nor state police are inclined to investigate cases that are a waste of their time. I agree with Freemason in that public sector unions have outlived their usefulness and necessity by a few decades. But, much like teachers' unions, it would appear that the firefighters have discovered a way to exploit sick days and did so many years ago. What probably started as a one-time 'understanding' between two firefighters has become a full-blown entitlement for the entire department, and anyone who questions it (e.g. Cote/Block) is simply evil. Clearly there have been many wink-winks and nod-nods over the years. So far, I think Solomon's handled it about as well as could be expected. That said, this is clearly Warwick's version of The Swamp.
