The two-time election reject is so intent on pandering to the teachers union that he completely fails to note the contributions of the parents who pay the taxes that fund the teachers' salaries and benefits, and who persisted through work-to-rule, pickets at City Hall, and illegal strikes by the teachers to educate their children.

He has also been shamed into recognizing the parents on a number of occasions, proving that he actually has no interest in acknowledging their contributions to their children;s education.
