Report Inappropriate Comments

This is a decision that is common for all new administrations. In my view, it is neither good nor bad. It's just a normal transition and I don't think anyone should read anything into it. The City Solicitor is part of the Mayors team. Mayor Solomon will appoint a replacement that is more suitable to Mayor Solomon.

Peter Ruggeiro was hired to give legal opinions, not make decisions. As such, he did an adequate job, I believe, as will his replacement. The decision makers, Avedisian, and now Solomon, bear the responsibility of those "decisions", right or wrong.
