Thecaptain, after he's been so wrong about so much -- and compounded his false statements with conspiracy theories and name-calling -- the two-time election reject's statements deserve nothing except laughter by honest, taxpaying readers.

I also think it's laughable for Mayor Solomon to say that your work to uncover the illegal side deal -- and Ruggiero's role in it -- had nothing to do with Ruggiero's departure.

This is not the typical departure of a senior city staffer because of the events surrounding it.

Only those who it benefits, like the mayor -- or those who deny the objective reality in front of them, like the two-time election reject -- would say otherwise.
