I am frustrated by this particular issue. The money went somewhere because it clearly didn't go to where it belonged. No one had their eyes on it and now it has simply vanished into the general fund. That isn't being fiscally responsible. I would think that most adults are aware that they can get an annual exam through their insurance with little and sometimes no cost to themselves. It is time for the "General Fund" both locally and state-wide to go away because it is nothing but a big black hole. I believe it is time for a very honest review of all the departments budgets. In most companies, for every dime you spend, you have to have a receipt that goes along with it!

As many had predicted, once Avedesian left, all the buried things started rising to the surface. Mr. Cote has been made into a villain for his actions but the results speak for themselves. Shouldn't the administration and council be ashamed that an unelected citizen is the one doing all the research, time and money to find all these issues? Aren't they elected to be caretakers of the town and the money paid by our taxes?
