Report Inappropriate Comments

I think the outrage came from the fact that the donation was initially turned down. While other towns said thank you, Warwick said, sorry we don't know how to equitably spread this money out. It was a stupid and thoughtless thing to do. I feel that it was the easiest route for them and once again, once it became public, magically a solution appeared! Bachus seems to only come up with ideas after public outrage.

Obviously, parental responsibility is important. It still isn't the child's fault if their parents won't pay their debt. My opinion is there are far more things that are "unconscionable" than not paying lunch debt. Testa doesn't have a crystal ball into the homes and lives of the debt holders. They should just say thank you for your donation, we will make sure it gets to children in need and leave the judgment at the door. Turning it down was just an idiotic move. Pretty sure they regret it now since once again we made national news because we suck.
