Report Inappropriate Comments

In fairness, Dupuis is right. His job is to value properties, not tax properties. I have not heard any cogent arguments suggesting that values are off, only understandable complaints that people are paying higher taxes. That is not the fault of the assessor. Maybe, just maybe, taxes should be proportional to the amount of municipal services consumed (including schools) since that is what taxes are paying for in the first place. Let the debates begin!!
