Nay-sayers will whine unless the city switches to a volunteer fire department. I’m not interested in their drivel as they have other agendas which fuel their hatred of the firemen.

A good negotiation has both parties leaving the table unsatisfied. It is a fair deal for the city and for the firemen.

I’m honestly surprised the Jakes went for it....they gave up quite a bit. Solomon’s negotiation team did well. Although I think he should show up and present his proposed agreement.
