This is stupid. Why doesn't the city & union hire (share the cost) an objective forensic accounting firm & a law firm to come up with an honest appraisal of the contract.
The city & union would have cover.
Taxpayers would be protected.
Animosity would go away.
All contracts going forward should be vetted by non partisan forensic accountants & lawyers.
