To "bill123": Sorry Bill, but this is the year 2019, and disgusting terms such as "retarded", "cripple", "colored", etc., etc., have no place in conversations among civilized members of society. Interestingly, the neanderthal who used that term at the council meeting was forced to retire from his previous job for multiple instances of racism, brutality, and other egregious behavior, and has been the subject of an investigation by his employer's retirement board for possibly receiving a bogus disability pension. No matter what your position on the firefighters contract, for that individual to use the type of language in a public meeting was nothing short of disgusting, and anyone who condones that type of language should not be allowed to speak at public meetings.
