It's amazing to me that the WFD doesn't even know what the fisca notel says regarding OPEB. That fiscal note was presented by Solomon and his advisers to the city council. It's Solomon's fiscal note and Solomon has complete ownership of it.
The OPEB cost is based upon AN INDIVIDUAL.
Even with the WFD contribution, an retired firefighter will cost the taxpayer over a MILLION DOLLARS in retiree healthcare. This doesn't include the generous WFD pension. That will also cost the taxpayers' MILLIONS.
The taxpayers can no longer afford the WFD.
