Report Inappropriate Comments

Once again, this is 2019, not 1980 or 1960, and in this day and age, when a mentally unstable individual boasts about owning a firearm and threatening other posters with physical violence, it's time for law enforcement to step in. Years ago, this sort of behavior and threats of violence may have been shrugged off or ignored, but in today's society, threats of this nature must be taken seriously. One need look no further than the tragedy that occurred a few days ago in Westerly to see what can occur when a mentally unstable individual has access to a firearm. Hopefully the Beacon and law enforcement will look at these threatening posts closely and will take the steps necessary to insure that the type of horrible tragedy that occurred in Westerly does not happen in Warwick.
