Report Inappropriate Comments

Very well put Scal and very well written. People may disagree on things, and while there are many who may not like or agree with Ed Ladoceur, he absolutely did the right thing at the meeting when he severely admonished the speaker who used a terrible offensive term describing someone with a mental disability. Agree or not with Ed, it was a courageous and proper thing when he put the obnoxious speaker in his place. Also, it will be interesting to see if Stacia comes to the defense of the speaker who used that slur, as she has a niece with Down Syndrome. While she can agree with that speaker's political beliefs, she should condemn the hurtful words he used both at the meeting and on this blog. And while his classless and homophobic slurs have no place in civilized society, the larger story here should be his public threats of violence. Our country has seen far too many instances of violence with tragic consequences and many lives lost, and that speaker/poster has shown pretty much every "red Flag" warning. Let's hope law enforcement takes notice, and maybe a tragedy can be prevented.
