Firstly, Thank you Councilman Ladouceur for battling to keep our kids safe. This article brings up the systemic problem of not being able to resolve real issues within our city for years which have snowballed under Mayor Picozzi's administration: Note that the Mayor, City Council & director Cousineau have been aware of multiple school drop off safety issues for years, admittedly a number worse that at Rocky Point yet none have been remedied !
A group of neighbors made Mayor Solomon aware of a similar issue on Tweed between Reynolds & Hollis ( Ward 6 ) & 2 other city land issues. We have presented our concerns including photos to Betty Smith, Donna Travis, Aaron MacAfee, Richard Galant & at a city council meeting : the issues are all worse that they were pre-COVID ( one of many excuses over the years ).
