From the Q & A section of a pamphlet sent out by the Warwick Sewer Authority in 2008-09.

Q: What are the consequences of not connecting even though I have received a letter saying I must?

A: If after one year of notice you have not connected, the sewer authority will impose a connect capable fee. This fee will be $500 per quarter starting 3 months after your year to connect is up.

The names on the pamphlet are Scott Avedisian and Thomas P. Stone. So the homeowners that played by the rules got screwed once again. The mayor's word means nothing. The sewers benefit all Warwick homeowners and all that are connect capable should be motivated to tie in.
