Lt. Gilbert....I have a mommy. She is the only adult who can ask me to wear a seat belt. Has anyone been killed by a body flying out of a car because it wasn't seat belted? No..no they haven't. Wearing/not wearing is a personal choice. We do know that police officers are required to wear their seat belt but they do not, according to national statistics. And when you are riding your police motorcycles....very dangerous devices with no seat belts.

This is nanny state, revenue producing non-sense.
