The Artists’ Exchange’s ninth annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival is just around the corner.
This year’s event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, with a rain date of Sunday, Sept. 25. It will be held on the outdoor paved lots surrounding the Artists’ Exchange and Citizens Bank on Rolfe Square.
This year’s family-friendly event will feature live music and theater, pumpkin painting, prizes, raffles, “artsified” carnival games, a beer and wine garden, a street art contest for a free Artists’ Exchange class, dance demos, a Summer Art Camp installation, photos in front of a giant cartoon airplane, and more.
Those on hand will be able to receive 25 percent off class registrations, and tickets will be on sale for Epic Theatre Company’s 2015-16, the Artists’ Exchange’s annual production of “A Christmas Carol,” and other Theatre 82 productions.
Admission is $1 and is free for children 3 and under.
The Artists’ Exchange is seeking musicians, artisans, vendors and volunteers to assist with this year’s event. Artisans and vendors may visit artists-exchange.org to download an application, or email info@artists-exchange.org for more information.
Those interesting in volunteering for the event may email volunteering@artists-exchange.org.
Additional information is available at artists-exchange.org. The Artists’ Exchange is located at 50 Rolfe Square and can be reached at 490-9475.
