The Community College of Rhode Island will hold two open house events this summer to help prospective students learn about education and career paths in engineering and technology.
The open houses will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, and Tuesday, Aug. 11, in Room 0100 at the Knight Campus, 400 East Ave., Warwick.
Participants can learn about courses and programs that prepare students for employment opportunities in advanced manufacturing, the utility industry, computer networking, computer desktop support, electrical technology, mechanical design and more. They also can find out more about Engineering and Technology certificate and degree programs that transfer to Rhode Island College, University of Rhode Island, Johnson & Wales University and New England Institute of Technology.
The event offers a one-stop opportunity to meet the faculty, tour the college’s labs, learn about the advanced manufacturing apprenticeship program and more.
