The Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation has awarded $30,000 in grants to two Warwick organizations, Thomas J. Lamb Jr., bank president, CEO and chairman has announced.
Friends Way, the only child and family bereavement center in the Ocean State was awarded $25,000. Funds will be used to offset expenses for the shared meal program, operational costs and group supplies.
Westbay Community Action that assists economically-disadvantaged Kent County residents by helping them with such services as food, utility, health, safety and education was awarded $5,000. The Centreville Bank award is to be used to support Westbay Community Action’s “Golden 50th Celebration.”
