Congressman Jim Langevin will attend the annual meeting of the Friends of the Library at Warwick Public Library on Thursday, June 2 at 7 p.m.
Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, Congressman Langevin is a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Homeland Security. In his roles as U.S. representative and Rhode Island secretary of state, he has served the people of Rhode Island and the citizens of his hometown of Warwick.
Join him for an up-close visit at the Friends of the Library annual event. The Friends will conduct a brief business meeting at 7 p.m. followed by the congressman’s talk.
