Cranston, Warwick students cast in ‘A Christmas Carol’

Trinity Rep continues their 52nd season with their annual presentation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with original music by Richard Cumming, presented by Cardi’s Furniture with supporting sponsor Amica Insurance. Performances run through December 31. Trinity Rep is celebrating its 39th year of presenting this beloved New England holiday tradition under the direction of Richard L. Bready Artistic Director Curt Columbus.

This year’s production once again features two companies of child actors, one of which stars Cranston students Bobby Miller III, Amaryllis Miller and Gustavo Londono. Bobby is 11 years old and his sister Amaryllis is 8 years old, and both are students at Rhodes Elementary School. They are playing Peter and Tiny Tim, respectively. Gustavo is 11 years old, attends Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional, and is playing Scrooge as a child. Warwick students Calista Aguinaldo, Laurel McMahon, Thomas Fitzgerald and Ronin Scott are also part of the ensemble. Calista is 9 years old and Laurel is 10 years old. They both are students at St. Rose of Lima School and play Belinda in alternating performances. Thomas is 11 years old, is a student at Rocky Hill, and is playing Peter. Ronin is also 11 years old, is a student at Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional, and is playing Scrooge as a child. They will be playing opposite resident company actor Stephen Berenson, who is starring in the production as miserly businessman Ebenezer Scrooge.
