Trinity Rep continues the celebration of their 50th season with their annual presentation Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, as adapted by Adrian Hall and Richard Cumming, presented by Cardi’s Furniture with supporting sponsor Amica Insurance. Performances run November 9 through December 28. Trinity Rep is celebrating its 37th year of presenting this beloved New England holiday tradition under the direction of Tyler Dobrowsky.
This year’s production once again features two companies of child actors, featuring Cranston students Emma Broomfield, 11, of Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional as Want; and Bedros Kevorkian, 8, of William R. Dutemple as Tiny Tim/Ghost of Christmas Future. Resident acting company favorite Fred Sullivan Jr. plays the role of miserly businessman Ebenezer Scrooge who is confronted on Christmas Eve by three spirits.
