Ernest V. Anderson, 72, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Golden Crest Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine C. (Susi) Anderson.
He was a son of the late Lloyd E. Whitey and Rita J. (Cayer) Anderson. He was employed as a warehouseman for Roger Williams Foods for 34 years before retiring. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 251 AFLCIO, the Moose Club and New England Club both in Florida, and Parents without Partners in RI.
He is survived by four daughters: Lisa Marie Vermette, Tinamarie Medeiros, Jeanmarie Pariseau and Rebecca Marie Anderson; one brother, John R. Anderson and one sister, Rose Coccia and seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 15, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m.
