On Sunday, June 30, sisters Jaiden and Kaylynne Porter, with the assistance of their friends, ran a lemonade stand with the proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of their grandmother, Debbie Hogan. The stand on West Shore Road raised a total of $126.25. The proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society on Monday, July 1. In addition to Jaiden and Kaylynne, those also working the stand were: Ethan and Aaden Silvia, Devin and Tyler Chapman and Kate, Kiley and Alyssa Ferns. Flanking Aaden Silvia, Jaiden and Kaylynne Porter and Ethan Silvia are Kelsey Pickering, left, and Megan Anderson from the American Cancer Society.
