Cartoonist Frank Galasso was among a group of judges faced with coming up with a winning design for the T-shirts to be handed out for the first Rocky Point 5K sponsored by the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, May 4. It is a sanctioned 5K. The 25 entries in the competition to students at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School were judged Friday. The winner will receive $300 to be spent on art supplies. Runner-ups will have their designs posted on mileposts on the run.
