Keith Michael Johnson’s enormously popular production, “Bubbleology,” returns to Ocean State Theatre in Warwick on Saturday, February 6.

Have you ever wondered “how bubbles do that?” The science behind the magic unfolds like a mystery, as Keith Michael Johnson quickly captures the audience’s attention with his stunning state-of-the-art bubble sculptures, making this show both educational and unforgettable. You’ve never seen bubbles like this before...you can learn a lot from a bubble!

Keith Michael Johnson (as seen on the Discovery Channel’s “Time Warp”) became the first soap bubble artist in America to create a Bubble-Show with the help of public funding through Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, an appropriation from the Rhode Island General Assembly and private donors. From huge wobbly bubbles dancing in the air to smaller intricate bubble sculptures that eventually fall up to the ceiling, “Bubbleology” is a celebration of creativity, expression, invention, imagination and hard work. It’s a skillful blend of outrageous bubble effects and seriously fun bubble experiments that can be tried at home.

Before and after the performance, families can enjoy drinks and snacks, which will be available for purchase at the theatre’s lobby concession stand.

“Bubbleology” will be presented on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. The theatre is located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Single tickets are $10 each, with packages of three Family Fun Fest shows or more for $8 per ticket. Discount rates are available for groups of 20 or more by calling 921-1777 x112. Tickets are on sale at the box office Monday through Friday from 12 noon-6 p.m., Saturdays from 12 noon-4 p.m. and from 12 noon until curtain time on performance days. Tickets are also available online 24 hours a day at www.OceanStateTheatre.org and via telephone during normal box office hours by calling 921-6800.

Introduce your child to the magic of live theatre at the new state-of-the-art Ocean State Theatre.
