M. Virginia Kelly, 94, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, June 27, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin F. Kelly.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William J. and Mary W. (Trainor) Cain. Ginny worked as bookkeeper and office manager employed by Catamore Jewelry Company of Providence for many years before retiring in 1969.
She is survived by her daughter Ginny Muschiano & her husband, Vic of Hopkinton, MA; her granddaughter Kelly Connolly & her husband, Lance of Braintree, MA; her brother Robert F. Cain & his wife, Loretta of North Kingstown; her sister: Gerry Carroll of California; and by several nieces & nephews and Godchildren. She was the dear friend of Betty & Jimmy Marsis and Richard Lang. She was the sister of the late William J. Cain Jr. and of the late John S. Cain.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Remembrances may be shared online at carpenterjenks.com
