The crew at Pleasure Marina in Oakland Beach was busy Saturday morning as boaters were anxious to get their crafts launched for the long weekend. With his boat “Fire Escape” in the traveler, Pawtucket firefighter Milton Giard hastily paints spots missed. And, as it turned out to his surprise, a stripe of the paint ended up on his nose. Watching all the activity from a safe distance is Milton Jr.
