Take a musical and narrative journey to the cherished Emerald Isle at Warwick Public Library on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. Hear jolly tales and touching Irish tunes on Celtic harp, tin whistle, fiddle and guitar and see traditional hard shoe Irish dance in a St. Patrick’s Day tribute to Ireland’s history and culture. Plus, arrive at 6:30 p.m. for an Irish step dancing lesson and dance to a jig during the show. Celebrating Ireland in Story and Song features Phil Edmonds (leprechaun) from Killaloe in County Clare; Mary King, a descendent of Donegal; Rhode Island’s Kevin Fallon (rascal); and Katherine Grupp and Sophia Menoche from the Blackstone River Theatre Tir Na Nog Irish Dance troupe.
