New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) has earned the No. 5 spot (out of 30) in the Guide to Healthcare School’s 2012 Top Healthcare School Rankings. SR Education Group, a leading education portal based in Kirkland, Wash., produced the survey.
More than 200 accredited schools were evaluated using a number of standardized school metrics from the U.S. Department of Education and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), which serves as the primary governmental entity for gathering and presenting education statistics to the public. Metrics used to determine the rankings included whether the school was for-profit or non-profit, cost of tuition, student reviews, whether or not the school was regionally accredited (only regionally accredited schools were included in the rankings), loan repayment rates and average rate of student retention. To see the full list of rankings, visit Guide to Healthcare School's 2012 Top Healthcare Schools Rankings.
