Police are working to identify a woman in connection with multiple incidents of shoplifting at the GameStop location on Garfield Avenue in Cranston.
Three women reportedly entered the store just before 11 a.m. and again shortly after 3 p.m. on Feb. 18, participating in the theft of a Microsoft Xbox One game system during each visit. The systems are valued at $499 each.
Images of a woman seen taking the Xbox from the store were captured on surveillance footage, and have been posted on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website.
On March 29, the same unidentified woman entered the Gamestop with another woman. The two are suspected in the theft of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 3, valued at $159.99.
Those with any information regarding the identity or location of the woman shown in surveillance images is asked to contact Cranston police at 401-942-2211, ext. 5147.
Detectives Lee Sohn and David Tirrell are investigating the incidents.
