Classmates from the 1976 sixth grade class at Greene School that have remained in touch over the years started getting together every month or so for breakfast about a year ago. The group continues to grow and on a recent Saturday met at the home of Jean Whatley, who lives around the corner from the former school. After breakfast they walked over to the familiar building and gathered for this shot on the steps. Pictured in the front row (from left) are Nancy (Esposito) Ferri, Cindy Chapman, Diane LaPlante and Denise (Ciunci) Cavallaro; (back row) Cecile (Plant) Mulligan, Julie (Barlow) Mowbray, Kimberlee (Pickering) Pascale, Jean (Daniels) Whatley, Bonnie Fernandez, Elaine (Finocchiaro) DiChiaro and Colleen (Fielder) Davenport. Most of the group still lives in the Longmeadow area but look to include more of their classmates. (Submitted photo)
