Tickets are now on sale for “the wildest party of the year” – Roger Williams Park Zoo’s annual fundraising bash, Zoobilee! Feast with the Beasts, presented by Alex And Ani/Charity By Design. This year’s Feast with the Beasts, to be held Saturday, June 25 from 7 to 11 p.m., is set to feature fine food and drink from dozens of southern New England’s best restaurants, as well as live music and other fun entertainment, all in the unique and beautiful setting of the zoo at twilight. As part of the Zoobilee! fundraiser, the zoo is also hosting an online auction now through June 27, with a wide variety of unique items and experiences up for bid.

Zoobilee! partygoers will feast on fine food and drink from local favorites such as Hemenway’s Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar, Avvio Ristorante, Not Your Average Joes, Starbucks Coffee, El Rancho Grande, Mill’s Tavern, Chomp Kitchen and Drinks, Sweet Indulgence, Catering by Dave’s Marketplace and many more. Zoo-themed martinis will be shaken and stirred at the popular “Zootini Bar” by premier beverage sponsor Douglas Wine and Spirits.

Alex And Ani will have their photo booth at the event for guests to capture fun memories. The night’s entertainment is set to include live music by World Premiere Band, as well as Farm Dog, a band comprised of Zoo employees. Ethereal performance artists from Ten31 Productions will also be on grounds, there will be fire-twirling routines by Circus Dynamics, and some of the zoo’s education animals will make special appearances during the night.

In addition to the festivities scheduled for the night of the event, the zoo is also hosting a Zoobilee! auction exclusively online now through June 27.  The auction offers over 100 items up for bid at a great value, from priceless zoo experiences to Patriots and Red Sox tickets and outings, airline tickets, getaways, theater tickets, unique entertainment packages and more. Visit http://rwpzoo.org/zoobilee and click on “bid” to browse and bid in the auction through June 27.

Last year’s Zoobilee! raised over $286,000 in proceeds for the zoo; the event has raised over $4.5 million since its inception in 1991. The funds generated help underwrite the zoo’s animal care, and award-winning environmental education and conservation programs. These programs include the conservation of threatened and endangered species in New England and around the world, and important community outreach efforts, such as the Zoomobile, which bring science and environmental education to tens of thousands of local school-aged children and other participants per year.

Zoobilee! is presented by Alex And Ani/Charity By Design, and is supported by sponsorships and contributions from a number of area businesses, charitable organizations and individuals. A committee of community leaders, led by Chair Pat Wholey, president and general manager of WPRI 12, Fox Providence and myRITV, have come together to help make this year’s event a success.

Tickets to the over-21 event are $125 per person for non-members and $100 per person for current RWP zoo members. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $15,000 or more and include early admission tickets to the event as well as special recognition in Zoobilee! promotional materials.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit rwpzoo.org/zoobilee, e-mail zoobilee@rwpzoo.org or call 941-3910 x453. Tickets are limited and are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Due to the sale of alcoholic beverages, Zoobilee! is a 21 years of age and older event. Note that the Zoo will end admission at 12 noon the day of Zoobilee! to prepare for the event.
