Come pay tribute to Little Feat with Sailin Shoes! Experience the music of Little Feat’s at the Courthouse Center for the Arts on June 18 at 8 p.m. 

Sailin’ Shoes, a Tribute to Little Feat, debuted in December 2012 as a labor of love covering not just the early years of Little Feat but also each incarnation. Songs from the ’70s featuring Lowell George through the ’90s featuring Shawn Murphy and back again. Members of Sailin’ Shoes have played all over the world and have shared the stage with some of Rock & Roll’s greats such as: Willie Deville, Sam the Sham, Donna Jean Godchaux, Bob Weir, Levon Helm, Maceo Parker, The Wailers, Todd Rundgren, Sam Moore, Stanley Jordan, Richie Havens, Robert Randolph, George Porter Jr., John Oates, Sting, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Rick Derringer and more.

The Courthouse Center for the Arts, a non-profit community-based arts organization located in Kingston, R.I. The mission of the Courthouse is to produce and distribute exceptional arts programming, targeting children that would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in many mediums of the arts. The programs are year round and free for children ages 7-17, Entertainment, music events and many classes contribute to funding the free children’s programs. The Courthouse also provides educational opportunities in the arts, local artist monthly gallery exhibits, Concerts and fundraisers for many causes, as well as providing free recording space and time for budding artists. The Courthouse is committed to providing accessible and affordable programming for adults and kids while preserving the beautiful historic Washington County Courthouse as its home.
