For National School Choice Week, Buttonwoods School for Young Children will host a tour of their facilities as well as a meet-and-greet with current faculty.
Buttonwoods School for Young Children, located at 311 Buttonwoods Ave., is a Christian pre-school and kindergarten that services children from the ages of 3 until 6.
National School Choice Week, is a nationwide initiative started in 2011, which attempts to raise awareness of the various types of educational options and opportunities for children, including traditional public schools, private schools, charters and even home schooling among others.
This year the movement runs from Jan. 24 until the 30th. According to the website this year’s event has 16,140 total participants, at least one in every state.
Buttonwoods School for Young Children will be running registration for the new school year, a tour of the school and a meet and greet with teachers, open to parents and prospective families in the area this Saturday, Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. The school is located at 311 Buttonwoods Avenue, Warwick.
