For the 12th year in a row Texas Roadhouse restaurants across the country will host a motorcycle ride benefiting Homes for Our Troops.

With 10 rides across throughout the nation, over 7,000 riders are expected to participate with a goal of raising $250,000 or more. To date, Texas Roadhouse has raised over $800,000 for Homes for Our Troops.

This year Texas Roadhouse hopes to break the $1 million mark. Homes for Our Troops helps severely injured military veterans by constructing homes with special adaptations, which cater to veterans’ injuries, such as amputations.

This allows the veterans to have more freedom of mobility and independence.

After the run there will be a BBQ, live entertainment and raffles. The first 300 to register will also receive a t-shirt.

The motorcycle run will be on Sunday, Aug. 9, beginning at 10 a.m. and start at the Cranston Texas Roadhouse on 99 Garfield Ave. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and after the ride there will be a lunch and concert until 2 p.m. Registration will be $30 for a single rider, $50 for a driver and passenger, and $20 for just the BBQ.

For more information or to register in advance visit HFOTUSA.org/bikerun or www.texasroadhouse.com.
