Joseph Crowley, former director of the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center, buys raffle tickets from Christina Bombei and John Valletta at Saturday’s breakfast at Dave’s Bar and Grill. The event, run by the center, helped raise funds to send the center’s 15 gold medal winners in the Skills USA state competition to the nationals to be held June 21 in Louisville, Ky. An estimated $22,000 needs to be raised to get the kids to the nationals. A golf tournament will be May 30 at Cranston Country Club. Players should contact Michael Haynes at the center at 734-3150.
