Victoria J. Duffy
beloved mother
Victoria J. Duffy, passed away May 9, 2011 at Greenville Health Center. She celebrated her 83rd birthday on May 3. She was the wife of the late Edward Duffy. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pierino and Hilda Schiavio and sister of Rosemary Cunningham of Ipswich, Mass. and the late Gloria Lenk, Gigina Porcelli and Mary Politelli. Vicki will always be remembered for her well-stocked cookie jar, her selfless nature and her devotion to her family. Victoria was a much-loved mother of her three daughters, Valorie Meleo and husband Anthony, Audrey Snow and husband Stephen and Mary Bolton, and her favorite son, Edward Duffy and wife Patricia. She leaves five treasured grandchildren, Ashley and Edward Duffy, Christopher Meleo and Sarah and Emily Bolton. She had close friendships with Celeste Costa, her nephew, Vincent Politelli, and her cousins in Bangor, Maine. All are invited to celebrate her life in Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, May 12 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held May 13 at 9 a.m. in funeral home. Burial will be with her husband at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
