Ward 5 Councilman Ed Ladouceur presented Stephanie Van Patten with a council citation at a recent council meeting in recognition of her extensive PTA volunteer work. Joseph Rodrigues, president of the Warwick Neck PTA, nominated Van Patten for the Star Rhode Island PTA Volunteer Award. Van Patten, who is the vice president of the Warwick Neck PTA, can be found spending her free time volunteering at St. Barnabas Church and the Warwick Boys and Girls Clubs. (Warwick Beacon photo)
