In a game that saw multiple lead changes, it was Coastway Credit Union that walked away with the win. Coastway erased a two-run deficit in the bottom of the sixth on a double by Dylan Radock. John Abatiello drove in Radock with the game-winning single. Colin Lemieux pitched the last two innings for Coastway, striking out seven.

Dylan Bourret had two hits, one of which was a triple. He also posted two RBIs and two runs scored. Lucas Hemond had a single and two RBIs and Brendan McCaffrey, Dylan Cunetta and Aiden Moreira each had one hit and an RBI.

Radock had three hits on the day and drove in five runs. John Abatiello had two hits, a single and a triple, and Lemieux scored four runs for the winning team.

Savage and Savage 11, Brennan’s Braces 7

Savage and Savage knocked Brennan’s Braces from the unbeaten ranks with a convincing 11-7 victory. Savage and Savage batted around the order in the second inning, plating eight runs, which proved to be all the runs it would need. Jack Hornstein, Bobby Vale, Tyler Cote and Jaden Rodas all had hits in the inning. Thane Denton capped off the inning with a home run that drove in two runs.

Brennan’s Braces scored seven runs on 10 hits. Aaron Narcavage had three hits – a single, double and a triple. Chase Pariseau also had three hits, contributing a single and two doubles. DJ Sollitto and Jack McConnell also had two hits each on the day.

Brennan’s Braces 14, Coastway 0

Brennan’s Braces scored five runs in the first inning to jump out to an early lead – a lead it would never relinquish. Chase Pariseau drove in the game’s first run with an RBI single, and Kenny Rix drove in the next two runs with a line drive single to left center. Over the course of the next few innings, Brennan’s would tack on 11 more runs on a Narcavage triple that drove in a run, a DJ Sollitto double that plated two runs and a bases loaded double by Jack McConnell that also plated two runs.

Narcavage, Bobby Court and Sollitto combined to pitch an abbreviated no-hitter. The Coastway notables were Logan Marks and Peter Masse, who made their pitching debuts. During the course of the game, Marks and Aiden Girouard made excellent defensive plays.

Savage and Savage 7, Donelan’s 3 Donelan’s reps scored first, but it was Savage and Savage that would walk away with the 7-3 victory on this night. Donelan’s took the early lead in the first. Sean Gallagher reached base via base on balls. Cullen McGrew followed Gallagher with a double to put runners on second and third. Kaden Madden drove in Gallagher to plate the game’s first run. Savage and Savage would tie the game in the bottom of the first and take the lead for good in the bottom of the second on an RBI sacrifice fly by Bryan Denton. Savage and Savage would increase its lead in the bottom of the fifth. Jaden Rodas singled to bring home Bobby Vale and loaded the bases for Jack Hornstein, who then doubled to drive in two runs.

Donelan’s rallied to score two runs in the top of the sixth on a Gallagher single and a double by McGrew. Unfortunately for Donelan’s, that was all the runs it could muster and fell short in its comeback bid. Brennan’s Braces 6, Savage and Savage 1 Brennan’s Braces and Savage and Savage entered the night tied for first place. When the night was over, Brennan’s walked away with a hard-fought victory. Solid pitching and timely hitting were the factors in this closely-contested game.

Brennan’s scored first in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Kenny Rix. Rix drove in Chase Pariseau, who had singled and stole second base. Brennan’s scored another run in the second inning on a two-out double by Jeriel Garcia. Garcia, who stole third base, went on to score on a wild pitch. In the bottom of the third inning, DJ Sollitto provided some insurance runs on a three-run home run. Sollitto’s blast plated Dom Brazeau and Rix, who had both singled.

Savage and Savage, known for its hitting prowess, were kept in check most of the night. Brennan’s received stellar pitching performances from Rix and Brazeau. Rix pitched three innings of no-hit ball, while striking out five. Brazeau pitched three strong innings of relief for Brennan’s. Brazeau struck out the side in both the fourth and fifth innings. He gave up two hits and one unearned run, striking out eight.

Stephen Soulliere had a base hit and went on to score Savage and Savage’s lone run. Anthony Blade also had a hit and Thane Denton had a solid pitching effort, striking out seven batters.

Brennan’s Braces 13, Donelan’s Reps 4 Brennan’s Braces jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first. Kenny Rix drove in the game’s first run on an RBI single that plated Aaron Narcavage. DJ Sollitto followed Rix with a two-run home run to make the score 3-0. Jalen Dennis entered the game to pitch the second inning for Donelan’s and did not disappoint as he struck out the side in order. Donelan’s Reps took a 4-3 lead in the top of the third. Colin Moran and Gavin Scanlon started the inning by reaching base via base on balls. Mason Link drove in Donelan’s first run with an RBI single. Sean Gallagher, who had two hits on the day, would give Donelan’s the lead by blasting a three-run home run.

Brennan’s, facing its first deficit of the night, responded with four runs of its own in the bottom of the third to take a lead it would not relinquish. Rix, Sollitto, Narcavage and Chase Pariseau combined for seven hits and eight RBIs on the day. Jimmy Salisbury, Kaden Madden, Devyn Robbins and Zach Dimezza also each had a hit for Donelan’s Reps.

Donelan’s Reps 2, Degiulio Insurance 1 Degiulio insurance took an early lead, but it was the hot bat of Zach Dimezza that would decide this closely-contested game. Degiulio Insurance opened the scoring with an RBI single by Brendan McCaffrey in the first. This would be the last run Degiulio would score as Cullen McGrew would hold it hitless over the next four innings. McGrew struck out nine batters in earning the victory.

Donelan’s scored both of its runs in the fourth inning. Jalen Dennis tied the game with an RBI single and then Zach Dimezza plated the go-ahead run on a hard-hit triple, his second hit on the day.

Brennan’s Braces 9, Savage and Savage 6

Savage and Savage dominated this Friday night contest from the onset, but it was Savage and Savage which walked away with an impressive come-from-behind win.

Savage and Savage jumped out to an early 6-0 lead. S and S scored two runs in the top of the first. Cam Nadeau led off the game with a single. Jack Hornstein followed with a walk and Colby Barker singled. Brennan’s recorded an out on a steal attempt. With runners on second and third, Tom D’Andrea hit a triple to knock in the first two runs of the game.

Savage and Savage scored four more runs in the third inning. Jack Ayers led off the inning with a double, and was followed by Nadeau, whose single scored Ayers. A Hornstein single moved Nadeau to third and a fielding error plated Nadeau. D’Andrea then drove in two more runs with his second hit of the day.

The Savage and Savage bats were not the only story. Colby Barker pitched two scoreless innings, before giving up Brennan’s first run of the game.

Trailing 6-0 going into the bottom of the third, Brennan’s cut the deficit in half on a hit by Aiden Viveiros and a Sean O’Donnell hit by pitch. Dom Brazeau doubled to drive in Viveiros and O’Donnell and a Chase Pariseau single plated Brazeau. The score was 6-3 with three complete. DJ Sollitto entered the game in the third inning and held S and S scoreless. In the bottom of the fourth, Bobby Court drove in O’Donnell, who had singled, to cut the lead to 6-4.

Sollitto again kept the hot bats of S and S at bay, allowing no runs in the fifth. In the bottom of the fifth, Brennan’s Braces took its first lead of the night by scoring five unanswered runs. Pariseau tripled to drive in two of Brennan’s five runs.

Kenny Rix entered the game in the top of the sixth to try to preserve the win for Brennan’s. He did not disappoint. Rix struck out the side to give Brennan’s the hard-fought, come-from-behind victory.
