Warwick CareWell helps in collection of school supplies for needy

With a new school year right around the corner, it’s not too early to start shopping for school supplies. However, this can be difficult for low-income families. The Warwick CareWell Urgent Care clinic and Cindy Fitzgibbon, WCVB meteorologist, are partnering with Cradles to Crayons for the back-to-school drive in order to provide Warwick children in need with school supplies.

From now to Sept. 30, people living in Warwick can drop off new school supplies to the Warwick CareWell Urgent Care clinic at 535 Centerville Road, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Proceeds help local children to be well prepared and feel confident heading into the new school year. The back-to-school drive will help over 30,000 children.

CareWell Urgent Care is a leading provider of accessible and efficient neighborhood health care. They are committed to improve the delivery of health care in America by providing affordable, high quality, on-demand care.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to the age of 12 living in low-income and homeless situations with essential supplies they need to succeed at home, school, and play. They provide these supplies free of charge by connecting with the community.
