Finally, says Mark McHugh, it got cold enough for ice on his dream rink. The Warwick Neck resident rented a Bobcat, unearthing boulders the size of a VW, and using a laser gun to create a 45-by-80-foot level area, which he lined with a layer of heavy plastic wrap with a four-inch rim before flooding with 5,600 gallons of water. Mother Nature did the rest. But then on Saturday she delivered snow that McHugh pushes to the side, as his daughter Alexia and her friend Kaylee Catucci take a spin. McHugh’s next project?
