William C. Ellinwood, Jr., 86, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Dora D. (Bacon) Ellinwood.
Born in Wickford, he was a son of the late William C. and Estelle M. (Campbell) Ellinwood, Sr. William was a World War II Army veteran. He worked as a store supervisor for Sunbeam Bread for 36 years before retiring. William enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting trips with the “guys” in Maine.
William was the loving father of Gail Mulhall, William Ellinwood, III, Raymond and Gary Ellinwood, and the late John Ellinwood and Sherrill Rossi; brother of Gilbert Ellinwood, June Jones and the late Donald Ellinwood and Doris Quinn. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
