Windwalker for Professional Pet Therapy will sponsor a tree lighting at Elmhurst Extended Care, located on 50 Maude St., Providence, today at 4 p.m.
Members, family and friends are invited to enjoy music of the season, light refreshments and fellowship with the Windwalker family and residents and staff of Elmhurst to kick off the holiday season. The highlight will be the “First Honor Tree.”
The Honor Tree will be decorated with homemade ornaments by Elmhurst residents aided by Windwalker members. Each ornament in the shape of an animal will be either green for honor of or red for memory of. Proceeds from these ornaments will benefit (PARL) Providence Animal Rescue League, along with donations of food and dog supplies.
