As part of its master planning process, the Rhode Island Airport Corporation held a public meeting last Wednesday at Green Airport to outline stages of development based on projected plateaus of passenger growth. Green Airport is expected to reach the first level of 2.5 million enplanements in about five years. Plans do not call for extension of runways, with the bulk of improvements centered on additional terminal gates and reconfiguration of taxiways.
