Alfred Esposito, 87, died Thursday, May 31, 2018.
He was the son of the late Alfred and Rosina (Calise) Esposito. Alfred was formerly employed for Esposito Jewelry. He was an avid poker player as well as a singer and entertainer with a passion for the theater. He was in numerous shows with The Community Players, Mill River Dinner Theater, and The North End Players. A Korean War Veteran, he served with the United States Army.
He was the uncle of Cynthia Cook and Stephen Purio. He also leaves his partner and caregiver Sean P. Doyle. He was the brother of the late Frances Purio, Constance King, Lucia Riccitelli, Gilda King, and Joseph Esposito.
His funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
