Ann J. (Longo) Zonfrillo, 77, died Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Robert B. Zonfrillo. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Louise (Bucci) Longo, she resided in West Greenwich for over 40 years. Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She received her Master’s Degree in English from Rhode Island College. Ann had taught English at Warwick Veterans’ Memorial High School for 28 years, retiring in 2000. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Paul R. Zonfrillo and wife, Ann, Mark R. Zonfrillo, and Lisa A. Zonfrillo; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Maria, Ella, and Fiona Zonfrillo; her brother Anthony Longo and wife, Priscilla, and her sister-in-law Marie Chmielewski and husband, David.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Ave., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for a scholarship to benefit students who overcome adversity to Bishop Hendricken High School, Robert and Ann Zonfrillo Scholarship Fund, 2615 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI 02889 would be appreciated.
