Braxton Bragg had a historic 2023 year across multiple sports and cemented his place as one of Pilgrim’s all-time athletes. In ice hockey, Bragg was a stonewall in net as the Warwick co-op’s goalie and wound up leading the team to the Division I Semifinals while finishing atop multiple categories to emerge as the state’s best goalie. He would turn around in the spring and roll to another huge campaign in lacrosse, as he led the team in scoring and broke the program’s all-time goals record as a junior. The Pats, who were freshly moved up to Division II, would reach the championship game where he had a multi-goal performance. Lastly, he was a captain for the soccer team in the fall and was named to the Division II First Team.
