Carol A. (Gricci) Bovill


Carol A. (Gricci) Bovill, 74, passed away, March 19, 2014 at Miriam Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of George R. Bovill for 55 years.

She was a daughter of the late James and Florence (Galiazzo) Gricci. Carol was employed for the city of Cranston as a handicapped school bus aide for 20 years before retiring. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons: George, Michael and Timothy Bovill, three daughters: Lori Benedetto, Mari-Anne Sprague and Lisa Tourgee; two brothers, James and Jackie Gricci, two sisters, Dorothea Bruno and Elizabeth Mongirdas; sixteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 22, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, Fair Street at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m.
